Hansraj College New Delhi, GDC Drass organize online webinar on sports and physical education
Kargil, May 26, 2021: In continuation with the ongoing Vidya Vistar Programme, Government Degree College (GDC) Drass in collaboration with Hansraj College New Delhi organized an online webinar on the theme Sports Departments and their Role in Higher Educational Institutions under Vidya Vistar scheme here today.
The purpose of holding the webinar was to discuss the achievement story of Hansraj College in national and international events.
Principal GDC Drass Dr Amjad Ali, Coordinator VVS Dr Alka Kacker, Dr Monika Koul, Dr Shailu Singh, Dr Deepanshi and Dr Gaurav were the panelists in the webinar.
Dr Deepanshi and Dr Gaurav shared their experiences and suggested GDC Drass which is a newly established college as to how to work in different areas so that students can excel in sports, adding they also shared about the ways to attract students towards sports especially the girl students.
On behalf of GDC Drass, Dr Amjad Ali Principal expressed gratitude to Hansraj College and their coordinator for organizing the webinar.
Among others Director Physical Education and Sports Mustafa Ali was also present on the said session.
