World Milk Day: KVK Kargil-1 organizes online training, e-goshthi
KARGIL JUNE 01, 2021: On the occasion of World Milk Day 2021, Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Kargil-1 today organized an online training and e-goshthi through online mode via the Zoom app.
Good number of farmers and 5 scientists, media persons and public representatives joined the meeting through online training and e-goshthi.
As per the guideline Issued by ICAR, there were three lectures on different topics including Breeding, Feeding Management and Healthcare of Animals, Clean Milk Production and Dairy Farming as Economic Enterprise Using Local Resources which were delivered by Dr Syed Muhammad Shah, Scientist (Animal Nutrition), Dr Najamaana Wani Scientist (Veterinary Public Health) and Dr Muhammad Mehdi (Principal Scientist and Head, KVK), respectively.
During the 3 hours long programme, a lot of queries were received regarding animal health, reproduction, breeding improvement and quality fodder production which were resolved on spot by the experts.
Dr Nasreen Fatima, Scientist Plant Protection moderated the whole programme starting with a welcome address.
Meanwhile, President, Agriculture and Horticulture Association, Kargil Muhammad Ali expressed gratitude to KVK Kargil-1 on the behalf of the public for such type of platform and requested to organize such types of programmes in future as well.
