Swami Vivekanand Hospital , Amphalla starts a new Dialysis Centre for the Kidney Patients
Jammu, July 08, 2021: Swami Vivekanand Medical Mission Charitable Hospital, Amphalla, Jammu today inaugurated a five beded dialysis facility for patients with renal failure at the hospital complex. . The Center will operate round the clock and will provide dialysis to around fifteen patients daily. The new state of art Dialysis Centre is equipped with latest digital equipments in trend to facilitate the patients suffering from kidney related ailments. These services are made available to people of J&K first time in this Hospital. Earlier patients had to go to other hospitals for the Dialysis purpose.
The specialized Dialysis Unit in the Department of Nephrology of the Hospital was inaugurated by Dr. Subhash Gupta (Patron of the SVMM) in presence of Sh. Anil Gupta. (President), Sh. Amar Chand Gupta (Sr. Vice President), Sh. Atma Saroop Gupta (Vice President), Sh. B.B Gupta (General Secretary), Sh. B.S Jamwal (Secretary), Sh. Subhash Gupta (Associate Member), Dr. Bankey Lal Gupta, Dr. Ramesh Gupta (Senior Member), Dr. Jattinder Gupta, Sh. Shanker Dutt Sharma, Sh. Neeraj Puri (Lucky Puri), (Corporator Ward No. 54), Ms. Nidhi (Corporator Ward No. 17, Sh. Suneet Raina (Corporator Ward No. 9) and other members, consultants and staff.
Introducing the new Dialysis Centre, Anil Gupta (President of SVMM ) said that the new facility will be of immense benefit to kidney patients requiring dialysis. The healthcare facilities at the hospital are being upgraded to provide modern medicare to needy patients at subsidized cost. We are continuously striving to offer patient-centric healthcare, with compassion and are improving the quality of services in the hospital. “We have got the latest dialysis machines. The treatment will be at a very subsidized cost. We want to provide the best quality treatment to kidney patients. Any kidney patient in need of dialysis can come here and get treated; it is open to all people. The centre’s capacity will be increased to 10 beds in future.
The dialysis Centre shall function under the supervision of specialized Nephrologist having expertise in the Kidney related ailments, He added.
He further reiterated that the patients with the renal disorders are free to take advantage of these services which are now open for all.
