Policeman shot dead in Saidpora Srinagar

Srinagar, June 17, 2021: Militants on Thursday shot dead a policeman in Saidpora area of Eidgah Srinagar, police said.

A police spokesman said on Twitter that Javaid Ahmad was fired upon by militants near his residence in Saidpora, leaving him critically injured.

He said the injured cop was immediately shifted to SKIMS Soura in critical condition where he succumbed.
