Mission Mode Aadhaar camps being organized in Villages

Jammu, March 07, 2021: As per the orders issued by General Administration Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, Mission Mode Aadhaar Camps are being organized across 500 identified villages through UIDAI Registrars Mission Directorate Samagra Shiksha, School Education Department J&K and Project Directorate Integrated Child Development Services J&K. The Aadhaar kits are being deployed across the identified locations at designated schools and Anganwadi Centers where services of Aadhaar enrolment and Correction/Updation are being provided for all age groups so that Residents can avail the benefits of various schemes being launched by Government of India.

So far 294 Mission Mode Camps have been organized and 85253 residents have been provided Aadhaar Services through these camps and these special camps will continue till end of March 2021.

As per the UIDAI officials, there are 700 Aadhaar Centers functioning in J&K and in future more camps will be organized as per the orders from the UT Administration.

Residents should visit these centers deployed at Schools, Anganwari centers, Banks and Post Offices and utilize the services for Mandatory Biometric Update of children who have attained age of 5 and 15 years to keep their Aadhaar Active.
