J&K Premier League 2020-21 to begin in district Samba

Samba, July 14, 2021: Preparations for J&K Premier league  2020-21 in 04 games Volleyball, Football, Kabaddi and Hockey has reached it logical conclusion. The league in all respective games is being organised by Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council in collaboration with concerned Sports Associations. The inagural ceremony for league shall be held in District  Samba  on 15.07.2021.

The inaugural function will be held at Sports Stadium Samba in which District Development Commissioner Samba Mrs. Anuradha Gupta KAS  has consented to be Chief Guest and A.D.C Samba has kind consented to be the Guest of Honor. The function shall be held at 03:00 PM.

Sh. S. P. Singh Manager, J&K Sports Council has been appointed as the Chairman of organising Committee for this Premier League at Samba.

Divulging on the matter Ashok Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, Jammu said that, “we intend to attract and educate our young generation especially players to acquire training in our Sports centers established and upgraded by J&K Sports Council and sole objective of this league is to create Sports awareness, ethical values, and team spirit among the people of District Samba.
