Gujarat’s daughter not safe in Gujarat’s Porbandar, police-liquor mafia makes mockery of “Beti Bachao” campaign, as CM, DM, SP remain insensitive

Porbandar (Gujarat), June 12, 2021: Slogan of “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” seems to be a mere formality in the state of Gujarat, where no one cares for the common man and instead pressurises the victims to change statements and harasses the whistle-blowers in connivance with liquor mafia.

One such case has come to light in Palkheda village of Porbandar where 50 goons attacked Pahal Charitable Trust’s office last week injuring trust’s president Parul Ben Gadvi and her family in front of the police and kidnaped a girl who was handed over to Parul Gadvhi by the Miyani Marine police for safe custody as she had stated in front of police that her family was pressurizing her to marry against her will.

This daylight hooliganism was brought to the notice of the CM Gujarat, Collector Porbandar and Police as also National Commission for Women through various social media and local media news items but till date all these people sitting at the helm of affairs are acting as deaf and dumb.

It is assumed that no action is being taken due to tremendous political clout of the goons who are said to be the henchmen of local Sarpanch and liquor mafia which works closely with the local police.

Taking cognizance of this glaring lawlessness, senior journalist and well-known social activist King C Bharati who is also Patron of Pehal Charitable Trust (PCT), has appealed to the Chief Minister of Gujarat to immediately provide fool proof personal security to PCT president Parul Gadhvi and order a high-level inquiry into the circumstances that lead to the brutal attack on her a few days back in front of the police.

King C Bharati also demanded an FIR against the goons who attacked the PCT office and Parul Gadhvi and damaged the property of the office worth lakhs.

King C Bharati wondered that despite the fact that the goons attacked Parul Gadhvi and her family in front of the police and kidnapped the girl that was kept in her custody by the police, no FIR has been lodged and instead police expect Parul Gadhvi to file an FIR first before launching an inquiry.

Seeking damages for the broken property and case against the goons King C Bharati has warned that if anything happens to the girl or Parul Gadhvi, the Gujarat government and Porbandar administration shall be held responsible for that adding Parul was being threatened indirectly by the goons to keep mum or face another attack.

King C Bharati wondered where the “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” slogans have gone in Gujarat where girls are not feeling safe anymore and threatened a nation-wide agitation if immediate action was not taken by the government.

King C Bharati said that PCT would resort to Protest demonstration all over India and sit on a dharna in New Delhi against this inaction and insensitiveness of the Gujarat police and Gujarat government.

He demanded that the girl should be restored to the custody of Parul Ben Gadhvi along with fool proof security as she was being threatened and made to change the statements to suit the attackers and the police which is said to be hand-in-glove with the liquor mafia of the area getting political patronage as well.

King C Bharti has said that if the Porbandar police and administration does not register an FIR in this matter in the next few days and does not give tight security to Parul Ben Gadhvi, then PCT will expose the police and liquor mafia nexus as certain facts indicate the close nexus of all these people involved.

He said that it was clear that the Porbandar administration, the police and especially the Miyani police station is working closely with the goons and the liquor mafia and is not allowing any social worker to work freely and instead are trying to silence them by threats of police cases against them.

Now PCT approaches the media fraternity to help the girl and give right direction to the “Beti Bachao” slogan by highlighting the issue through your esteemed platforms.

गुजरात  की बेटी गुजरात के पोरबंदर में सुरक्षित नहीं है, पुलिस–शराब माफिया ने  “बेटी बचाओ” अभियान का मज़ाक बनाया,  क्योंकि सीएम, डीएम, एसपी मूक–बधिर बने हुए हैं.

पुलिस अपराधियों की मदद और पीड़ितों की उपेक्षा करती है; किंग सी भारती ने की उच्च स्तरीय जांच की मांग की

पोरबंदर (गुजरात), 12  जून, 2021: “बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ” के नारे गुजरात राज्य में एक मात्र औपचारिकता प्रतीत होते हैं, जहां कोई भी आम आदमी की परवाह नहीं करता है और इसके बजाय पीड़ितों को बयान बदलने के लिए न सिर्फ मजबूर किया जाता है बल्कि अपराधियों के साथ मिलकर सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं को प्रताड़ित भी किया जा रहा है।

ऐसा ही एक मामला पोरबंदर के पालखेड़ा गांव में सामने आया है जहाँ पुलिस के सामने 50  गुंडों  ने पहल चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट के ऑफिस और ट्रस्ट की प्रधान पारुल बेन गढ़वी और उसके परिवार पर हमला किया और एक लड़की जिसको पुलिस ने खुद पारुल बेन के हवाले किया था, को ज़बरदस्ती अपहरण कर के ले गए जबकि पुलिस ने आज तक इस मामले में  कोई FIR दर्ज नहीं की और न ही उस लड़की को बचने की कोशिश की.

इस मामले की शिकायत सोशल मीडिया के विभिन तरीकों से गुजरात के मुख्या मंत्री से लेकर पोरबंदर कलेक्टर, SP और राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग तक की गयी परन्तु किसी ने भी इसका संज्ञान नहीं लिया.

बताया जाता है की उन गुंडों का वहां के शराब माफिया और स्थानीय सरपंच और पुलिस के साथ मिली भगत होने  के कारण कोई उनपर करवाई नहीं कर रहा है.

पहल चैरिटेबल  ट्रस्ट (पी सी टी) के संरक्षाक,  वरिष्ठ पत्रकार और जाने माने समाज सेवक किंग सी भारती ने इस बात का स्नज्ञान लेते हुए गुजरात के मुख्या मंत्री से अपील की है की पहल चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट की प्रधान पारुल बेन  गढ़वी को तुरंत सुरक्षा प्रधान की जाये और पहल चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट के ऑफिस पर जिन लोगों ने हमला किया और ऑफिस का लाखों का नुक्सान किया उन  पर तुरंत पुलिस की तरफ से FIR  दर्ज की जाये ताकि पी सी टी के नुक्सान की बरपाई करवाई जा सके.

किंग सी भारती ने कहा है की अगर पारुल बेन या उसके परिवार पर दुबारा किसी तरह का हमला होता है तो उसके लिए गुजरात सरकार और पोरबंदर प्रशासन  ज़िम्मेदार होगा क्योंकि पारुल बेन और उसके परिवार पर खतरा अभी बना हुआ है.

किंग सी भारती ने यह बी कहा है की जिस लड़की को पी सी टी ऑफिस से गुंडों ने अपहरण किया है उसको पारुल बेन के हवाले किया जाये क्योंकि परिवार और पुलिस गुंडों के साथ मिलकर उस पर दबाव दाल कर बयान बदलवा रहे हैं जबकि उसकी जान पर बेहद खतरा है.

उनहोंने चेतावनी दी है की अगर इन दोनों लड़कियों (पारुल बेन गढ़वी और अपहरण की गयी लड़की ) को किसी तरह का नुक्सान पोंहचा तो पी सी टी देश व्यापी आंदोलन छेद दे गा  और पोरबंदर प्रशासन , पुलिस और गुजरात सरकार  के खिलाफ दिल्ली में धरना प्रदर्शन करे गा।

किंग सी भारती ने आश्चर्य जताया की अभी तक इतनी बार गुजरात के मुख्या मंत्री से लेकर पोरबंदर पुलिस और प्रशासन को शिकायत के बावजूद कोई करवाई नहीं की गयी और पुलिस के सामने हमला होने पर भी पोरबंदर पुलिस इस बात का इंतज़ार कर रही है की पारुल बेन गढ़वी ही शिकायत दर्ज करवाए जब की यह मामला पुलिस की निकामपंथी का है.

किंग सी भारती ने कहा है कि अगर अगलेय कुछ दिनों में पोरबंदर पुलिस और प्रशासन इस मामले में FIR नहीं करती और पारुल बेन गढ़वी को कड़ी सुरक्षा नहीं देती तो वह पुलिस और शराब माफिया नेक्सस को एक्सपोज़ करेंगे क्योंकि इस मामले में उनके हाथ जो तथ्य लगे हैं इस से साफ़ ज़ाहिर होता है की पोरबंदर प्रशासन, पुलिस और खास कर मियानी पुलिस स्टेशन गुंडों और शराब माफिया के साथ  मिलकर काम कर रही है और किसी  समाज सेवी को काम नहीं करने दे रही है और उनको दमका कर चुप कराने  की कोशिश की जा रही है.
