EC Mohsin Ali reviews progress of works under Forest Department

KARGIL, JULY 19, 2O21: Executive Councilor for Forest and Wildlife Mohsin Ali convened a meeting to take stock of the status of pace of various ongoing works under Forest Department here today.

Various projects and works including the upliftment and beautification of forest parks in the district under the District Capex Budget, SDP and various other allied schemes came up for discussion during the meeting.

The Divisional Forest Officer Kargil informed that the EC through drawings and other related papers about the present status of the development of forest park and Council Secretariat which has already been handed over to Public Works Department, Kargil for execution of works.

During the meeting, Range Officers also presented their achievements.

EC Mohsin Ali stressed the concerned officers to accelerate the pace of works considering the limited working season besides also making sure that funds placed at the disposal of concerned department under various schemes are utilized to the fullest during the current financial year. He also directed officers to ensure no liabilities are created in the next year budget.

Divisional Forest Officer Kargil Sajid Sultan, Range Officer Kargil Niyaz Ali, Range Officer, Zanskar/ Drass Vilayat Ali Baba besides other concerned officers attended the meeting.
