EC Mohsin Ali inspects community classes in Shakar-Chiktan
KARGIL, JUNE 18, 2021: On the second day of his tour to Shakar Chiktan, Executive Councilor for Agriculture and Health Mohsin Ali who is also the Councillor of Chiktan Constituency in the LAHDC Kargil today inspected various government institutions to take stock of the conduct of community classes in the sub division.
The Executive Councillor was accompanied by the Sub Divisional Magistrate Shakar Chiktan Muhammad Sharif, Tehsildar Kacho Asgar Ali Khan, Zonal Coordinator Community Classes Chiktan besides other concerned officers.
EC Mohsin Ali interacted with the teachers, students, Village Education Committee (VEC) members and PRI members and expressed satisfaction over the smooth and hassle-free conduct of community classes in Shakar Chiktan.
While interacting with the PRI and VEC members, the Executive Councilor said that the government has posted well qualified and experienced teachers in all institutions by spending crores of rupees to uplift the educational standard of the students studying in government schools by raising sufficient infrastructure and other requisite facilities.
Expressing concern over the low enrolment of students in government schools in Shakar Chiktan Sub Division, the EC said that the issue needs to be looked into, adding he stressed to take necessary measures to enhance the level of enrolment.
The Executive Councilor further said that the student community are the future of the nation and in order to uplift the educational standard of the students, LAHDC, Kargil has accorded the education its topmost priority, adding he said that all possible steps are being taken in this regard.
