Central Silk Board, Ministry Of Tetxtiles, Govt. Of India Concludes The Training Programme In “Silk Reeling Technology” At Govt. Silk Factory, Bari Bharmana, Jammu

Jammu, March 06, 2021: The  10 days training programme in “ BIVOLTINE SILK REELING TECHNOLOGY “ organised & conducted by Silk Technical Service Centre, CSTRI, , Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, Jammu  at Govt. Silk Factory, JKI Bari Bharmana, Jammu for the workforce of the unit under CSS-CBT programme concluded on 05.03.2021.
In his valedictory address Shri Surinder Bhat, Scientist-D & Zonal Officer, STSC, CSB, Jammu emphasised on importance of conducting such type of skill enhancement and capacity building programmes necessary to enhance the skill of the workforce for qualitative and quantitative raw silk production. He thanked and appreciated the role of Shri Sanjay Handoo, Managing Director, JKI and Shri Sajad Nazir, DGM, JKI for their valuable guidance and suggestions during the course of the said training programme.
Shri Sudesh Kumar Panhotra, and Shri Ichpal Singh, Manager, Govt. Silk Factory, thanked STSC, Central Silk Board for conducting such training programme and expressed satisfaction over the improvement in quality and quantity silk production observed in the unit during the training programme.  They further added that quality impact assessment of the programme has generated the competition among the work force for production of quality silk thus the need for conducting such type of more programmes in future. The expert weavers of the unit also shared that the improvement of yarn quality as observed will be instrumental in production of quality silk fabric.
The technical experts in silk reeling/ post cocoon technology of STSC, CSB, Jammu and the Officers / Officials of silk factory JKI, Bari Bharmana also participated in the valedictory function of the training programme.
