KARGIL, MAY 29, 2021: Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan today chaired a meeting to take stock of the works executed on the establishment of Kargil-Batalik-Dha/Hanu Transmission Line being executed by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL).
During the course of the meeting, CEC Khan while inquiring from the concerned officers about the progress achieved so far on the establishment of the transmission line directed them to complete the pending works on the 66 KV Kargil Batalik Line and 11 KV Dha-Hanu Line by June 20, 2021.
The CEC directed that after the completion of the work, the charge of the transmission line shall be given to the Power Development Department.
CEC Feroz Khan further said that the Kargil-Batalik-Dha/Hanu Transmission Line is very important to provide electricity to Batalik and Aryan Valley Belt and the locals have have shown relentless support in this project by providing their lands, trees and property and the project needs to be completed soon.
Meanwhile, the concerned officers assured the CEC that the transmission line will be completed within the stipulated time-frame.
Deputy General Manager PGCIL, Executive Engineer, Project Division PDD, Executive Engineer, Distribution Division PDD, Executive Engineer, STD Kargil, Manager TATA Power Project besides other concerned officers were present during the meeting.
