Border Area Development is the Top Priority of Modi Government : Vibodh

Vibodh Addresses a Public Rally at Gambir Muglan in Rajouri

Rajouri, March 01, 2021: BJP State General Secretary and former MLC Vibodh Gupta today visited Gambir Muglan area of Rajouri and interacted with a large number of people on their various day to day issues. During this tour Vibodh was accompanied by Mr. Mohd Arif, Chairman of the Municipal Committee Rajouri and Mr. Bharat Bhusahn Vaid, Vice Chairman Municipal Committee Rajouri. During this visit Vibodh took stock of various ongoing developmental works and listened to the various issues being faced by the local residents of this border belt.
In his address Vibodh thanked the locals for a warm welcome at various locations. He informed the locals that leaders always become because of support and votes provided by the voters. These votes people give because of their trust and thus once a person gets elected to any position he should not try to enjoy the benefits of power but instead should work for the welfare of common masses. He gave the example of PM Modi and his mother who still lives in a small house with basic facilities when her son is PM of India. This he said should be used as a source of inspiration for everyone.
While giving details about the massive Development initiatives of the Central Government, Vibodh said that at present all the border areas of the country are getting a special focus of the Government. Holistic and equitable development of the border areas is the top priority of the Government. He informed that today the poor and marginalised people are feeling secure because of schemes like Ashuman Bharat and Housing for all. He felt pride in mentioning the fact that many people present in the rally were already the beneficiaries of such schemes.  On this occasion Vibodh also spoke about the Rs 28000 Cr industrial package announced by the Central Government and called upon the local youth to use this opportunity for setting up their own industrial units in the area.
In his address Vibodh also took on parties like Congress, PDP and NC who have always used these people as their vote banks. He said that these parties have always enjoyed power for their own welfare and have never bothered for the poor and marginalised. He gave the example of recent DDC elections wherein these parties participated in the elections when same parties have boycotted the Panchayat elections. Vibodh asked the people to understand the fact that these parties never like that a poor person from weaker sections of society should get power in the form of elected Panchayat member. While referring to each and every issue raised by locals, Vibodh said that he will ensure early redressal of these by regular followup with the concerned officials.
In his address Mr. Mohd Arif, Chairman of the Municipal Committee Rajouri spoke about the Jal Jeevan Mission launched by PM Modi wherein every household of the country will be provided drinking water through pipes.
