ARTO Office Kargil organizes camp at Sankoo Sub Division
KARGIL, JULY 08, 2021: In order to provide various transport related services at people’s doorsteps, ARTO Office Kargil held a camp at Sankoo Sub Division here today.
Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Kargil Kahdim Hussain said that the aim of such camps at various sub divisions is to provide transport related services like driving license test, license renewal, fitness certificates, permit renewal and other allied services at the doorsteps of the general public.
The ARTO further informed that such camps were previously organized by the ARTO Office Kargil at Zanskar and Drass sub divisions, and in future similar camps will be held at Shargole and Shakar Chiktan sub divisions as well.
ARTO Kargil Khadim Hussain said that around 100 participants applied for the test of driving license. He also said that proper guidelines and rules have been followed during the test for the participants to get qualified.
The ARTO also interacted with the participants before the test dive and made them aware about the driving rules and road safety measures. He also held a meeting with the transport stakeholders of Sankoo regarding the rate fixation and other related issues.
