Apni Party Concludes Door-to-Door Campaign in Jammu, Seeking Support for Zafar Iqbal Manhas

Jammu, May 24, 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) concluded its intensive door-to-door campaign today, reaching out to the Kashmiri Pandit community at various locations across Jammu, including migrant camps and residential areas.

Senior JKAP leader and prominent Kashmiri Pandit figure, Sh. M.K. Yogi, along with Nana Ji Wattal, Provincial Secretary of the Minority Wing, spearheaded the campaign efforts, culminating in a meeting at the Muthi migrant camp. The meeting was organized by the Muthi Welfare Committee, led by President Sh. Anil Bhan and Chairman Ramesh Chander.

The campaign also included meetings at the old Purkhu Camp, organized by Joginder Singh, Ashok Raina, Vijay Kumar, Neeru Devi, and Dimple; Upper Barnai, organized by Krishan Ji Koul; and Palora, organized by Monhar Koul and Ashok Sidha.

Throughout the campaign, Sh. Yogi and Nana Ji Wattal engaged with the Kashmiri Pandit community, highlighting the JKAP’s commitment to the community’s welfare and the party’s vision for a brighter future for Jammu and Kashmir. They encouraged voters to support the party’s candidate, Zafar Iqbal Manhas, in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections for the Anantnag-Rajouri constituency.

Joining the campaign were several other prominent Kashmiri Pandit leaders, including Virender Sathoo, Hira Lal Bhat, Ashok Bawnoo, and G.L. Pandita. Their participation underscores the broad-based support the JKAP enjoys within the Kashmiri Pandit community.

The door-to-door campaign, coupled with earlier public meetings, reflects the JKAP’s commitment to actively engaging with the community and addressing their concerns. The party remains confident in its message of progress, peace, and development, and is hopeful that its efforts will result in strong support from the Kashmiri Pandit community.
