Jammu, August 04, 2021: With just one day left for the second anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A, the AJKLT/ABRSM  in Jammu and Kashmir has decided to celebrate this occasion in a grand style while adhering to the Covid-19 related SOPs and guidelines.
“August 5 is a day of great joy and pride for the people of our nation. After a long struggle, Article 370 and 35A were abrogated by the Modi government in 2021.In 2019, on August 5, the people of J&K got justice. We will celebrate August 5 with great enthusiasm. Tricolour will be hoisted on the rooftops by the people across J&K. Each and every household, village, block, Tehsil, the district will celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A..
The All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers’ Federation, affiliated to Akhil Bhartyia Rashtriya Shaikshak Mahasangh, have paid tributes today on the event of August 5 to the social activists and political workers who were martyred while fighting against Article 370, 35A at all districts today.
The AJKLTF/ABRSM have also paid homage to the soldiers who have made the supreme sacrifice of their lives while protecting and safeguarding the nation’s unity, territorial integrity and sovereignty.
AJKLTF/ABRSM celebrate August 5 as “Ekatamakata Diwas”, on this occasion seminars were organized today in all districts  in JKUT.
These seminars were addressed by eminent social and education dignitaries. At Kishtwar Sh Parshotam Dedichi, president Sanatan Dharm Sabha J&K, at Doda Dr Vikrant a social activist and prant karivah RSS, at Ramban social activist and RSS seh prant karivah Sh Surinder Kumar Sharma, at Reasi,  prant parachar purmukh , Deepak Kumar, Kathua and Sh Pawan Kumar a social activist, Jammu Sh Avtar Bhat seh parant karivah, at Rajouri ,Rajesh Gupta president VHP, Udhampur Vivekanand organization general secretary VHP, and at poonch Sh Ajay Kumar  prant sampark Purmukh RSS were addressed on the occasion.
The key dignitaries  briefed the participants in their key addresses  that how peace prevailed and  developmental activities got their wings after abrogation of article 370.They also briefed that there is sudden decrease of terror activities with the decrease of 36% which has been  witnessed  post 05 August 2019.Stone pelting activities  have reduced to 88% as compared to pre-August 05 ,2019 giving clear message to the society that how Art. 370 has acted as shield  to anti national elements.
 “Moreover  many young boys from Kashmir valley who have earlier joined millitant ranks returned  back to normal life after abrogation of article 370 and are taking part in developmental activities.
They also informed that J&K and Ladakh is on the path of development weather its political,social or economic. Jammu and Kashmir is on the path of progress and all  Indian laws  are applicable  to it.
Ekatmakata Diwas  keep us reminding  the valour and sacrifice of our security forces, social and  political activists  and comman man of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. This is not an end , its just the beginning of new era in the history of Jammu and Kashmir and  Ladakh  which will witness all round  development and oneness with the country”
“The new system in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh is not meant to draw a line on the land (to draw a boundary) but to build a strong link of trust,” the speakers said in the wake of the bifurcation of the state into Union Territories which came into existence from October 31,2019.
Prominent personalities attended these seminars were JKUT President Devraj Thakur, Gen. Secretary Rattan Sharma, vice-presidents Darshan Bharti, Shiver Singh, Neeraj Sharma, Secretaries Satyia Bushan Sharma, Pawan Sharma, among district Presidents and members in JKUT.
