Abhay seeks age relaxation for posts of Sub – Inspectors in JKP
Welcomes advertisement of vacant posts
Jammu, July 07, 2021: Apni Party, State Youth Wing, General Secretary, Abhay Bakaya Wednesday demanded age relaxation in the recruitment of Sub Inspectors of Jammu and Kashmir Police Department.
As per a statement to the press, the Youth Wing organised a meeting at Gandhi Nagar Office in which they discussed various issues confronting the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
During the meeting, which was chaired by Youth Wing State General Secretary Abhay Bakaya, the youth expressed concern over the age bar and demanded that it should be relaxed for the youth aspiring to become Sub-Inspector of J&K Police.
The youth wing also discussed curbing-up of cybercrime and age relaxation for youth of J&K who have surpassed the age barrier.
The meeting was also attended by Joginder Singh, Vishal Jotshi, Vipul Bali, Suhail Khajuria, Yaser Choudhary, Ashraf Choudhary, Alam Khan and others.
Vinod Pandita, State Coordinator Displaced Kashmiri Pandits of Jammu Division and Vaibhav Mattoo, District Vice President Jammu Urban were also present in the meeting as invitees.
Abhay Bakaya, while addressing the meeting, welcomed the step by the Government for advertising the posts for Sub-Inspectors in J&K Police Dept for entrusting its expeditious recruitment to the Service Selection Board.
He, however, has appealed to the Lt. Governor that the youth aspiring for the Sub-Inspector post should be given relaxation who have surpassed the age barrier.
“The government must advertise more posts in other Departments for the educated youth of the union territory,” he said.
Abhay also expressed concern over the increasing cybercrimes which is a matter of serious concern which needs to be curbed with an iron hand policy as almost everyone in the society uses smartphones and can easily fall prey to the trap of such malevolent hackers.
