Jammu, January 27, 2021: On 26th January 2021 BSF School Jammu celebrated 72nd Republic Day in the school premises. IG BSF Jammu Frontier Sh N S Jamwal was the Chief Guest on the occasion. DIG/PSO Sh.S.K. Singh graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. All distinguished officers of the force were also present on the occasion.
The Chairman of the school Sh N S Jamwal, IG BSF Jammu FTR hoisted the National Flag.
Principal Dr S K Shukla in his welcome address spoke eloquently about our diverse nation and the relevance of the constitution and the Preamble. He drew the attention of audience towards the exceptional accomplishments of the school in academic and sports arenas. He highlighted the All India Ist Rank secured by the school in C-fore Education World survey 2020 in Multi sports culture. He also brought to light the remarkable achievement of Master Kartik Bhat who have brought laurels to the school by winning 2nd position in ‘Write to PM’ letter writing competition.
The Chief Guest Sh N S Jamwal, IG BSF Jammu FTR presented the Education World Shield and certificate to Principal Dr S K Shukla and sports incharges Mr Veerji Pandita and Mr Amarjeet Singh. He lauded the efforts of Dr S K Shukla, Principal BSF School Jammu and his team for inculcating the essence of duty, discipline, responsibility and pride of Indian culture and heritage in the students.
The programme culminated with a light tea and refreshment.
