Republic Day celebrated at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan; Rana hoists tricolour

Jammu, January 27, 2021: Provincial President National Conference Mr Devender Singh Rana today stressed the need for preserving and promoting secular ethos, saying unity in diversity is the biggest strength of the nation.

Unfurling tricolour on Republic Day at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan here this morning, Mr Rana exhorted people to maintain harmony and strive for peace and unity.

Mr Rana greeted the people on this auspicious occasion and hoped that they will work for strengthening the bonds of amity and tranquility—the hallmark of Jammu and Kashmir glorious pluralistic ethos. He reiterated the commitment of the National Conference to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and work towards lasting peace.

Gurdeep Singh Sasan, Mrs Satwant Kour Dogra, Mr Vijay Lochan, Mr Abdul Gani Teli, Mr Dharamveer Singh Jamwal,  Mr Issar Khan, Mr Tarseem Khullar,  Mrs Swaran Latta, Mrs Dilshad Malik, Mrs Rashida Begum, Mr S.S Bunty, Mr S. Sucha Singh, Mr Karan Singh, Mr Waris Gill, Mr Iftkhair Choudhary, Mr Rajeev Mahajan, Mr Ravi Dogra,  Mr Rohit Bali, Mr Ishtaq Ahmed, Mr Sajjid Malik, Mr Mohinder Singh Rana, Mr Nitish Gowsami, Mrs Pinky Khalsa, Mrs Haseena Begum, Mrs Zareena Begum, Mr Imtaiz Ahmed,Mr Sanjeev Handa, Mrs Raj Kour, Mr Subash Mehra and others.

Later, Mr Devender Singh Rana also unfurled the tricolour at Indira Chowk, the heart of the City, and greeted the people present on the occasion.
