NPP declares Feb. 14 & 15 National Seminar in J&K, to adopt action plan

New Delhi, January 19, 2021: After consultation with several state leaders of the National Panthers Party, Prof.Bhim Singh today in New Delhi declared that an urgent conference of the Panthers Party shall be held on 14 & 15th February, 2021 to work out a national agenda and the urgent need for the reorganization of J&K National Panthers Party.
The party has completed a double session of the presidential election and the working committee of J&K. Since J&K National Panthers Party is recognized in Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh and the State President elections are due before March 23, 2021 as the two-terms of the presidency were completed in 2020 only.
The presidential elections could not be held in 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Election Commission of India was kind enough to grant reasonable time to the Panthers Party to hold election for the post of President.
The Election Commission has recognized only the post of President for the state as the Chairman is covering the entire India.
The Panthers Party is a registered party in the whole of the country but recognized only in J&K and Ladakh.
Prof.Bhim Singh said that the State President of J&K and Ladakh shall be re-elected before March 23, 2021.
Prof.Bhim Singh said that the working committee of J&K shall also be re-elected by March 23, 2021 for a period of two years according to the Constitution of JKNPP.
Prof.Bhim Singh has released this statement to all the members of the working committee for information. He has also informed the State President to hold the meeting of the working committee at the earliest, may be in the first week of February, 2021 in this regard.
