Choudhary exhorts party workers to solve peoples’ problems
Newly appointed office bearers felicitated
Jammu, January 15, 2021: Former MLC and general secretary of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) Surinder Choudhary today called upon party cadre to work for strengthening communal harmony and brotherhood. He asked party workers to reach the masses to solve their day today problems.
Addressing a function to felicitate newly appointed office bearers of the party, Mr Choudhary exhorted party cadre to frustrate evil designs of the divisive forces.
Newly appointed District President Jammu rural, K K Sharma, District President Jammu urban, Rajeev Kumar Nittu, Rajat Gupta Vice President Youth wing, Sachin Bhagat Secretary Youth wing PDP were felicitated and welcomed at PDP office Gandhi Nagar. They were felicitated by general secretary Surinder Choudhary and other senior leaders of the party.
Congratulating newly appointed office bearers, Mr Choudhary asked them to work with dedication and commitment to strengthen the party at the grass-root level. He asked them to strengthen the hands of party president Mehbooba Mufti.
Pointing towards the prevailing situation in J&K, former MLC said that J&K is passing through a very crucial stage and it is the duty of all the right thinking people to protect the rights of the residents of J&K.
“Democracy is a battle of ideas but in J & K the present regime is brazenly stifling dissent through oppressive means”, he regretted.
Choudhary regretted that J&K has been plunged into unprecedented crises as the system has been completely collapsed and arrogant bureaucrats are not listening to the grievances of the people.
“Every section of the society and every sector is bearing the brunt of the wrong policies of the government”, he said and added the developmental activities have been completely stalled in J&K.
