Yogi, Pandita Condemn Brutal Pahalgam Attack, Demand Swift Justice
KP Leaders Demand Stringent Action Against Terrorists and Their Sympathizers
Jammu, April 22, 2025: Senior Kashmiri Pandit socio-political leaders M.K. Yogi and Vinod Pandita have strongly condemned the horrific terrorist attack on innocent tourists in the Baisaran area of Pahalgam. The leaders described the attack, which resulted in the deaths of 27 tourists and injuries to 12 others, as a heinous crime against humanity and a direct assault on India’s unity and integrity.
Expressing profound grief and sorrow, Yogi and Pandita conveyed their deepest condolences to the families of the victims, praying for the departed souls and offering strength to those left behind. They unequivocally condemned the dastardly act and called for swift and decisive action against the perpetrators.
In a joint statement, the leaders urged the Prime Minister of India, the Home Minister, and the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to swiftly identify and apprehend those responsible for this brutal attack. They demanded that the terrorists—described as enemies of humanity—be brought to justice according to the law, and further emphasized the need for stringent measures against those who support or sympathize with terrorist organizations within Jammu and Kashmir. Specifically, they called for decisive action against individuals deemed to be acting as stooges for Pakistan and those advocating for dialogue with the terrorist state.
