Yasar seeks compensation for farmers who suffered losses in heavy rains

Kathua, July 12, 2021: Apni Party leader Yasar Ali has demanded compensation to the villagers whose standing crops and houses have been damaged in heavy rains in Bani and Lohai Malhar.

In a statement to the press, Yasar has expressed deep concern over the losses to the people due to heavy rains in the upper reaches especially at Bani and Lohai Malhar area of Kathua District.

He said that the administration should constitute a team of officials and they should visit to make an assessment of the losses suffered by the farmers in the above said areas.

These farmers should be given compensation by the administration as early as possible, he demanded.
