Vomedh, TRN, JFF condoles GL Parimoo’s demise
Jammu, May, 09, 2023: The staff and activists ofVomedh Rangmanch, The Right News (TRN) and the Jammu International Film Festival (JFF) today held a condolence meeting at Vomedh office where rich tributes were paid to Sh. GL Parimooo, father of veteran actor, director Lalit Parimoo, who passed away at his Mumbai residence the other day.
The meeting expressed heartfelt condolences to Lalit Parimoo who also happens to be the jury member of JFF and is closely associated of Vomedh and TRN.
The condolence meeting was presided over by Rohit Bhat, president Vomedh and witnessed the presence of esteemed personalities from the entertainment and journalism fields. Among those in attendance were veteran actor-director Mushtaq Kak, Senior Journalist, actor and social activist King C Bharati, Bharati Kaul, Vice President Vomedh, advocate Rahul Kilam, Arvin Tickoo, Suman Rohit Bhat, Priya Khar, Himagini Moza and other staff members of the all-sister concerns of Vomedh and theatre activists and associates.
The atmosphere was filled with reverence as the attendees observed two minutes of silence, offering prayers for the departed soul and expressing solidarity with the grieving Parimoo family during this irreplaceable loss. The meeting further conveyed its unwavering support to Lalit Parimoo, pledging to stand by him during this hour of grief. They extended heartfelt condolences and offered any necessary assistance to the bereaved family in their time of need.
The resolution passed at the meeting said, “Vomedh Rangmanch, The Right News (TRN), and the Jammu International Film Festival (JFF) unites in grief as we mourn the loss of the esteemed Sh. GL Parimoo, father of renowned actor and director Lalit Parimoo. The news of Sh. GL Parimoo’s demise, which occurred at his Mumbai residence, has left the entertainment industry in deep sorrow.”
