Vinod Dixit’s Web Series ‘Ragad-Bhassad’ all set to hit OTT platform
UP film industry’s first Web Series completes post production
Greater Noida, February 06, 2020: The first Web Series shot after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s announcement of creating a film industry in UP, “Ragad-Bhassad” has completed the post production and is all set to hit the OTT platforms anytime now.
The Web Series produced by Shree Ram Entertainment and directed by a young Mumbai based actor/director Vinod Dixit was renamed as “Ragad-Bhassad” after initially naming the project as Bhassad keeping in view the content of the series that is based on a story written by Vinod Dixit.
“The Web Series was shot with much dedication and thankfully has turned out a fine piece of art”, says Director Vinod Dixit.
Dixit has shot the entire project within Greater Noida and is all set to release the Web Series any time now even as he is preparing a few more projects to shoot in UP in near future.
The Ragad-Bhassad is a thriller that would keep audience tied to their seats till end and has Lalit Razdan, Sarthak Bajaj, Kanchan Madhwal, Vibhour Kaushik, Azmat Khwaja, Sachin Keshav Chaudhry and King C Bharati in important roles. Ragad-Bhassad is written and directed by Vinod Dixit.
It may be recalled that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s big dream to give a full-fledged film Industry Status to UP has given a new hope and enthusiasm to the most of the filmmakers and actors in India while film personalities working either in Mumbai or elsewhere are more elated and ready to make the dream a reality.
In this connection the name of a Mumbai based young Filmmaker, Director, Writer and Actor Vinod Dixit can be treated as the early birds who have taken it quite seriously and started filming their projects in UP particularly the peripheries of Greater Noida which is said to be the centre of focus for the upcoming Film Industry in UP and has vast potential due to its topography, landscapes, natural habitats, villages as well as modern infrastructure already in place.
Vinod Dixit, a young filmmaker has completed his first major directorial project titled ‘Ragad-Bhassad’ which started shooting in November 2020 and has been shot locally with artists from UP as well as other states like J&K, Delhi, Haryana, Mumbai, MP, etc thus making it truly a project like Bollywood where everyone will get a job in one way or the other.
It is worthwhile to mention here that Vinod Dixit is working in Mumbai as Director, Writer and Actor under the banners of ‘Shree Ram Entertainment House’, ‘Discovery Hours Entertainers’, ‘The Turtle Life’ and ‘Jitesh Kumar Films’.
Dixit has more than 50 short films as writer and director under his belt and has written some notable web-series like ‘Cyanide Mohan’ directed by Rahat Kazmi, ‘Just 13’ (English Film) directed by Ashish Wagh, two music albums, ‘Maqsad’ and ‘Ya Ladkiyan’ besides ‘Girls Cutiyapa’ as writer-director.
His latest Web Series ‘Ragad-Bhassad’ is an all-out entertainer and will soon be released on OTT platform and is close to his heart as it is the first film to be produced in the proposed UP Film Industry.
