Vibodh interacts with the students at Pahari hostel

Upgrade Gujjar-Pahari hostels on modern line: Vibodh

Jammu, February 09, 2021: BJP J&K general secretary Vibodh Gupta on Tuesday interacted with the students at the Pahari Hostel Rajouri. Later, he distributed cover sheets to the students staying in the hostel. He congratulated them for their outstanding performance on Republic Day March Past and winning 1st position.
Vibodh during his interaction with the students answered their various concerns and urged them to suppose as if they are talking to a friend. He further asked them to dream big, walk out of comfort zone and get into challenge mode to achieve success in the life. He called upon the student fraternity to apply their skills to serve the nation and ensure that nation-building becomes national resolve.
Lauding PM Narendra Modi, Vibodh said that BJP’s government focus has been to ensure greater educational and employment access to youngsters belonging to remote communities such as the Pahari tribe. “BJP’s government decision to extend 4% reservation in UT jobs has ensured greater employment access to Pahari youngsters”, he added. He regarded it  as the welcome move and first step towards delivering complete justice to the Pahari tribe and urged students to make full use of the opportunity to illuminate their future.
Vibodh further ensured students that all their genuine demands will be met. He promised to sincerely raise the issue of upgrading all hostels belonging to socio-backward communities including Gujjars and Paharis on modern line across Jammu and Kashmir.
Vibodh noted that the way in which J&K is ushering in socio-economic change, it is capable of setting example for entire nation. He asserted that youth from border, remote and hilly areas of J&K are shining in all aspects of life. He named various IAS and IPS officers from Rajouri-Poonch who lived in extreme poverty and backwardness but with their determination and devotion they are today admired widely.
Speaking on the occasion President MC Rajouri Mohd Arif urged the students to enhance their skills and asserted that developing skills is important than having degrees. He asked them to take part in various activities such as debates, sports and cultural activities apart from their regular curriculum. He said that there is no big thing than studying hard and developing skills for the students as they are regarded as the future of India.
Vice-President MC Rajouri Bhart Bhushan Vaid also interacted with the students on the occasion and said that the BJP government is committed to the cause of Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas Aur Sabka Vishwas and hence, delivered reservation to the Pahari students in the UT. He appealed them to excel in their field and attain utmost success.
Warden Pahari hostel Hamid Malik complimented former MLC Vibodh Gupta for his regular visits to the hostel and making tireless efforts to ensure the upliftment of backward Pahari tribe. He ensured that the students in the hostel are provided with all basic-necessities and are given due care.
