Tringa Yatra showcased normalcy and change

For the first time since the eruption of armed struggle and militancy in 1990,this year the people of Kashmir participated in large numbers in the Tringa rally in the capital city of Srinagar and in Pulwama the district headquarters of this district and it showcased changed atmosphere and normalcy and the GOI should built on this positive change and seriously implement the peace initiatives for the all round development of Jammu and Kashmir.LG Manoj Shina said from Pulwama to poonch ,from Kulgam to Kathua ,from Jammu to Srinagar ,all houses in 20 districts are celebrating and hoisting Tricolor .A massive Tringa Yatra was organized by the LG administration in Srinagar on Sunday .The Tringa Yatra got a good response from the common Kashmiris and it proved the warning of PDP chief and farmer Chief minister Mehbooba Mufti that there will be no shoulder to carry the tricolor in Kashmir if article 370 will be undone .People of Kashmiri are taking part in Tringa Yatra and it points towards the change in ground reality and also hints towards the normalcy in Kashmir .LG also said, ’’Let us walk together ,let our hearts beat together ,this is the resolve of Tringa Yatra that binds every section of the society in one emotion .’’The LG administered the Prime minister’s Panch Pran pledge to the public representatives ,officials and citizens who attended the function at SKICC .All government departments in Kashmir had issued special instructions to its staff to be part of official functions and display the Tricolor on the occasion of the Independence Day .Officials are directed to use the flag as a display picture on their social media accounts. Teachers have been directed to sing the national anthem on camera and share the videos on official website .Hundreds of employees and locals on Sunday attended the Yatra from SKICC to Botanical Garden in Srinagar .Such rallies were also held at district level in other parts of Kashmir valley too .LG said,’’Tringa is in every hand today .This is what every Kashmiri yearned for. The huge participation is a big replay to those who once claimed that none will pick up the Tricolor. ’’Meanwhile chief justice of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court Justice N.Kotiswar Singh participate in a really near Srinagar’s iconic Lal Chowk and termed the response of the people to these rallies as ’’Kashmir returning to normalcy. ’’Justice Singh further said ,’’Tourist footfall has increased and has been the highest since decades ,which shows that people want to come and see this place .Kashmir cannot be seen anymore as a troubled place and that more stability and development will come to this place .’’DGP Dilbagh Singh also spoke at a Srinagar rally,said that massive participation of locals in Tringa Yatra was a welcome development.’ ’He also commented that overall situation is very peaceful on all fronts in Kashmir .Efforts are still on from across the border to misguide the youth through social media .The number of terrorists is miniscule .This year successful operations were conducted on the LOC in which a large number of infiltrators were killed .The LG of Jammu and Kashmir ,Manoj Sinha flagged off Tringa Yatra in Srinagar on Sunday August 13.The rally was joined by thousands of people along with the LG.The walkathon started from the Dal Lake area towards the Botanical Gardens .The LG said the entire J&K was participating in the Tringa Yatra .Officers and Jawans of the J&K police led by DGP J&K Dilbagh Singh also participated in the Yatra .The LG said the Tricolor represents the dreams of our freedom fighters ,our martyrs .’’I bow to all the great personalities who had made invaluable contributions and fought till their last breath for the progress and prosperity of the nation. ’’He said, ’’Today the entire J&K is participating in the Tringa Yatra .The tricolor is flying high in the sky , streets are filled with enthusiasm. .Participation of men, women ,youth ,and senior citizens across the UT is an inspiration for the country as well .’’In Jammu and Kashmiri’s Pulwama which was considered a hotbed of terrorism is limping back to normalcy and this has been testified by the participation of a large number of people in the Tringa Yatra .This is a very positive and encouraging development .Tringa Yatra has started from government Degree College for Women and the slogans of national unity and the fervor of patriotism was a glaring development .77th independence is tow day away but on Saturday that is 13 August ,a massive Tringa Yatra was organized and people including young ,senior citizens ,youth ,students ,government officials and public representatives and the common locals took great part in the Yatra .Before this on Friday in various police stations and posts a campaign of Meri Matti,Mera Desh was organized and the sacrifices of the freedom fighters were remembered and they were paid great tributes for having sacrificed their precious lives for the unity of the country .In Awantipur town of Pulwama ,J&K police organized a tringa Yatra with the help of district administration which commenced from the police lines of Awantipur and concluded at IUST Awantipura .In Shopian SSP also organized a Tringa Yatra and it passed in the market of the district headquarter and in this Yatra a good number of locals participated .The organizing of the Tringa Yatra signifies a change in the situation and showed peace and normalcy in Kashmir .It is a very positive and encouraging development that in the hotbed of terrorism which Awantipur and Shopian, Tringa Yatra was organized and it was not possible without the local participation and support and these places are now showing signs of change ,peace and normalcy and the violence has become a thing of past .The people of Kashmir are basically peace loving and they yearn for change ,peace and development and so they now shun the path of violence and take pride in being the citizens of India which has become a world leader .Common people of Jammu and Kashmir abhor violence and are taking part in national festivals and this is clear in the participation of people in great numbers in Tringa Yatra and it points towards the fact that Jammu and Kashmir is now moving towards normalcy ,peace ,security and development .In brief the Tringa Yatra signifies and showcases change ,normalcy and peace and this is a welcome development.
