Traffic Awareness Campaign Launched by Traffic Police City Jammu Since 21June

Jammu, June 26, 2021: Dr Koshal Kumar Sharma JKPS, SSP Traffic Police City Jammu Since 21st June launched a Ten Days-long Traffic Safety Awareness campaign to make the roads safer for Drivers, Riders and commuters in the Jammu City.

Besides, Directing The Officers/Officials to sensitise people about the Traffic Rules and Regulations to save Precious Human lives from Accidents.

SSP Traffic urged the people to take special care and precautions to ensure safety of the most vulnerable road users such as pedestrians, cyclists, children, elderly and the differently able persons while driving or riding Motor Vehicle.

“To be a Good Samaritan always help the road side Accident victims and Never use a mobile phone while driving,” Said Ms Shivali Kotwal DySP Traffic City North Jammu.

“Instead of enforcing the Traffic law strictly, people should voluntarily obey the Traffic Rules to save lives,” SSP further Added.

The activities  include holding of Awareness camps for drivers of Minibuses, Cars & Riders of Two-wheelers at RS Pura, Satwari, Narwal, Gole Market, Bikram Chowk, Dogra Chowk, Jewel Chowk, Talab Tillo Chowk, Ambphalla, Janipur,  Indira Chowk, Kachi Chowni, Parade, Nagrota, Domana etc.
