Suspected Pakistani drones spotted at 3 locations in Samba district
SRINAGAR, JULY 30, 2021 : The suspected Pakistani drone was spotted moving at three different places in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district, officials said on Thursday. Simultaneous flying objects were seen in Bari-Brahman, Chiladya and Gagwal areas at around 8.30 pm on Thursday, officials said.
The latest visuals were recorded nearly a week after police shot down a Pakistani drone carrying five kilograms of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) material in the border area of Kanachak near Jammu.
Officials said the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel fired two rounds at a drone in Chiladaya before returning to Pakistan.
The other two drones disappeared from the sky soon after hovering over sensitive security installations on the Jammu-Pathankot highway at Bari Brahmana and Gagwal, officials said. (PTK)
