Strengthening Grassroots Presence: M.K. Yogi Conducts Extensive Tour of Villages in Anantnag (East) Shangus Constituency

Yogi announced that over 150 workers from the region are poised to formally join the Apni Party at a special event to be held at the party headquarters in Srinagar

Shangus, June 10, 2025: In a significant grassroots outreach effort, Sh. M.K. Yogi, Senior Leader and Incharge of the Shangus Constituency for the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party, undertook an extensive tour of various villages, including Akad, Phood, Seer Hamdan, Hutmura, and adjoining areas in Anantnag (East).

During the tour, Sh. M.K. Yogi held wide-ranging interactions with local party workers, sympathizers, and community members. He extended encouragement to the cadre and reaffirmed the Apni Party’s commitment to inclusive governance and sustained development at the local level. He urged the workers to gear up for the forthcoming Local Bodies and Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) elections, stressing the importance of a strong and active grassroots base in realizing the aspirations of the people.

A public meeting was also convened during the visit, attended by key officials including the Branch Manager of J&K Bank, the BDO Mattan, and the SHO Natran, reflecting the party’s commitment to addressing both administrative and civic issues of the public.

In a significant political development, Sh. Yogi announced that over 150 workers from the region are poised to formally join the Apni Party at a special event to be held at the party headquarters in Srinagar. The joining ceremony will take place in the august presence of Party President Sh. Altaf Bukhari and General Secretary Sh. Rafi Ahmad Mir, marking a new milestone in the party’s outreach and consolidation in South Kashmir.

This extensive tour and the upcoming inductions are clear indicators of the growing trust and confidence the people have in the Apni Party’s vision and the dedication of its leadership toward building a peaceful, inclusive, and progressive Jammu and Kashmir.

Sh. M.K. Yogi was accompanied during the tour by Mohd Yousuf Sofi, Naveed Ahmed Shah, Kulvinder Singh, Shbeer Ahmed, Farooq Ahmed, Imtiyaz Ahmed, and other prominent local workers.
