Jammu, June 27, 2024: Samooh Theatre celebrated its 31st Foundation Day with a grand and evocative performance of Munshi Premchand’s renowned play, ‘Kafan,’ adapted into Dogri. Skillfully crafted by Dr. Sudhir Mahajan and directed by the talented Ravinder Sharma, the adaptation enthralled the audience at the Writer’s Club, Abhinav Theatre in Jammu.
The Dogri adaptation of ‘Kafan’ breathed new life into the classic tale, preserving its poignant essence while infusing it with local cultural nuances.
