SDM Shakar Chiktan takes stock of the status of on-going community classes

KARGIL, JUNE 30, 2021: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Shakar Chiktan Muhammad Sharif along with the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), Zonal Education Planning Officer (ZEPO) and Zonal Coordinator on Tuesday took stock of the status of the on-going community classes in various schools in the Sub division.

The SDM and the other concerned officers visited schools at Lamsoo, Sandoo, Yokma Kharboo, Magshandoo, Sanjak and interacted with the teachers, volunteers and students and expressed satisfaction over the smooth and successful conduct of the community classes where students were very positive and found enjoying the community classes.

The SDM hailed the enthusiasm and dedication of all stakeholders for making the novel concept of community classes amid the COVID-19 pandemic successful and result oriented.

The team of officers also praised the role of volunteers and appreciated their services to the society. They also distributed sanitizer and masks among the schools on the occasion.

Meanwhile, the SDM and other concerned officers stressed all stakeholders to ensure strict observance of the COVID-19 SOPs during the conduct of the community classes for the safety of the students, teachers and the local community.

The SDM instructed the ZEO Chiktan to make provision for thermal screening instruments at each school for random temperature check of teacher and students.

Village coordinators, Panchs, Lambardars besides other stakeholders were also present on the occasion.
