SDM Dorjay inaugurates rafting company at Zanskar
KARGIL, JULY 15, 2021: Area Development Officer/Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Zanskar Sonam Dorjay inaugurated a rafting company at Zanskar here today.
The rafting company with 3 trained technical personnel has been opened as a part of the measures to promote tourism in the sub division.
Tourist Officer Zanskar Abdul Aziz, Managing Director of the company Tashi Punchok besides other concerned officials were present during the inaugural ceremony.
SDM Zanskar Sonam Dorjay expressed his gratitude to the members of newly opened rafting company for their efforts to promote various tourism related activities in Zanskar.
The SDM also assured that the local administration and Tourism Department will extend all out support to facilitate various tourism related activities in the sub division.
