Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra (Youth For Kashmir) organises lecture on Kashmir Ki Mahaan Naariyan (The Great Women of Kashmir) via virtual mode

Jammu, January 31, 2024: A lecture on the topic “Kashmir Ki Mahaan Nariyan” (The Great Women of Kashmir) was organised by Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra (Youth For Kashmir) via virtual mode. It was in continuation of series of lectures being conducted for creating awareness among displaced youth related to their history.

Shree Ashish Kaul, one of the prominent writers, top business leader and social activist was the guest speaker on the occasion.

Shree Ashish ji while throwing light on the life of great women of Kashmir who have made unparallel contributions during the last many centuries for the overall benefit of the whole humanity.

It was felt that the irony was that these great women were never given the proper space in past history as much they deserved.

It is worth mentioning here that the speaker has worked tirelessly to collect the records from different relevant sources about these great women of Kashmir whose extra ordinary contributions have no challenge in the world.
On the basis of his research work which is well documented, he says it was Chander Lekha from Kashmir who had given the concept of banking system. For the concept of initiation of regular army in the world, the credit goes to Sugandha Devi of Kashmir. Similarly for the initiation of first counter intelligence mechanism and commando dasta, the credit goes to Rani Dida during last leg of 10th century. It was the army trained during the reign of Rani Dida, that Mohd. Gaznavi was defeated twice from the soil of Kashmir.

A good number of audiences was enthralled and exhilarated to know about these legendary women and their unparalleled contributions for the society. The audience, which included youth and women in good numbers, listened the whole lecture with great interest and patience.

The programme was presided over by Shree Avtar Krishan Trakroo while Sh Pradeep Kisroo hosted the programme.
The programme began with recitation of Shreemad Bhagwata Geeta Ji Shalokas by master Ananya.
