Mumbai, July 05, 2022: Saleem Ahmad is a name to reckon with in the world of film making and advertising in Mumbai and has cast a spell with his impeccable casting in different film projects, however with the release of “Om – The Battle Within” starring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sanjana Sanghi he has made a grand entry into the big banner Bollywood movies as main Casting Director.

Saleem started his career as an Associate Casting Director and worked for Anees Bazmee’s movie Ready and Thank You, Indra Kumar’sDouble Dhamaal, and Vipul Shah’s Action Replayy.
Later, in 2013, he started his casting agency ‘Saleem Ahmad Casting’ and never looked back. Until now, he has casted in more than 500 TV Ads and shows and still continues to cast for TV commercials.
Saleem has worked with some of the most prominent directors of the Bollywood till date and has done casting on television for brands like Paisa Bazaar, AMFI Mutual Fund, Tata Sky, Tata Motors, Reliance Home Loan, McDonalds, Suzuki, Tata Tea, Sony, Officer Choice, ICICI, HDFC, and many more.

He has also won the award for Best Casting Director for Paisabazaar at “New York Festivals Advertising Award” in 2019.
Apart from the movie “Om – The Battle Within”, his upcoming projects as casting director are – Shreyas Talpade and Mukta Barve starrer Marathi movie “Aapdi Thaapdi”, directed by Anand Karir, and Ahmed Khan Production’s “BAAP” starring Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Mithun Chakraborty.
