Roots In Fateh Kadal (RIFK) Event Management Company manages 9th Edition of Harmony India Awards 2023 in a grand way

Srinagar, June 18, 2023: Roots In Fateh Kadal (RIFK) Entertainment, the prominent Event Management and Production Company today organised yet another successful show of 9th Edition of Harmony India Awards 2023 that were held at Tagore Hall here today.

Tha grand event was managed by RIFK Entertainment lead by its Director Rohit Bhat alongwith his dedicated team which saw a galaxy of personalities from all walks of life in attendance besides the opening ceremony done by the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Manoj Sinha.

The award ceremony was held for the first time in Kashmir and the management of the event was handed over to the most professional event management company of the state RIFK by Harmony India.

The event was organised at a grand scale and the management was appreciated by one and all who witnessed the show.

RIFK it may be recalled has been organising mega events in J&K and elsewhere besides handling the production of movies, web-series and short films.

One if its short films EXODUS & EXILE – THE NEED has already won numerous national and international film awards.

Rohit Bhat, director RIFK Entertainment said that RIFK was committed to organise grand events in the near future adding the company aims to serve its clients by providing the world class services and ambience through its uniquely designed events under the able and highly professional team of dedicated executives.

It is worth mentioning here that Harmony Cultural Foundation, New Delhi organised its 9th Edition of Harmony India Awards 2023 for the first time in Kashmir for which RIFK Entertainment was chosen as the event management partner.

The award ceremony was held on June 18, 2023 at Tagore Hall, which was presided over by the Hon’ble LG JK(UT) Sh Manoj Sinha ji, along with distinguished gathering including Padamshree Awardee and Founder SBSSD, Jitender Singh Shunty, Waqf Board Chairperson Darakshan Andrabi, Mayor of Srinagar Junaid A Mattoo and others. A total of 20 awardees chosen by the jury from various fields of fine art, performing art, culture, Cine & TV, Sports, Literature, Administrative and Social Services, Journalism, Entrepreneur and others who have outshined in their respective fields, have brought glory to the success of Jammu & Kashmir and have immensely contributed to the growth and development of the nation. The awards were presented to, and given under various categories, as following. Lifetime Achievement to Sh. Pran Kishore Kaul; Shreshth Samaan to Sh. Farooq Nazki, Sh. Zameer Ashai, Sh. Ahmed Ali Fayyaz, Sh. Masood Husain, Sh. Bhushan Parimoo;

Women achievers award to Mrs. Nirupama Kotru; Community Icon Award to Sh. Ravinder Pandita & Sh. Rohit Bhat; Pt. Bhajan Sopori Smriti Samman to Sh. Abdul Rashid Hafiz; Harmony India Special Award to Dr. Pawan Suri and Ms. Rehmat Rattan. State Icon Award will be presented to Sh. Gulzar Ganaie, Sh. Ayash Arif, Sh. Munir Ahmed Mir, Dr. Satish Vimal, Sh. Amin Bhat, Ms. Zeenat Zeeshan Fazil, & the Yuva Puruskar to Sadia Tariq & Wajahat Rather.

The program also featured a musical performance by an emerging young group, Harmonies Choir of J&K, the young generation of Kashmiri singers, who have previously performed in 2021 at the inaugural ceremony of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in Ahmedabad, in front of PM Modi and also recently in the Vitasta series festivals.

A short documentary on Padmashri Pandit Bhajan Sopori was also screened as a tribute to the legend.
