Jindrah, March 13, 2025: PM Shri Government Girls Middle School Jindrah organized an insightful programme aimed at educating students about Citizenship Skills, Constitutional Values, and Knowledge of India. The event focused on raising awareness among students about their fundamental rights, duties, and the principles of democracy as enshrined in the Indian Constitution.
The programme was graced by Dr. Shakoor Ahmed Dar, Assistant Professor, who attended as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Dr. Dar delivered a series of enlightening lectures on constitutional values, fundamental rights, and duties, emphasizing the role of students in upholding democracy and contributing positively to society. He elaborated on the importance of justice, equality, liberty, and fraternity—the core values embedded in the Constitution. His speech encouraged students to develop a strong sense of national responsibility and active participation in the democratic process.
The event was presided over by School Incharge Shamash Din, who highlighted the objectives of the PM Shri (Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India) Scheme. He stated that the PM Shri initiative aims to develop model schools that provide high-quality education through a holistic approach, integrating modern pedagogy with traditional values.
The school promote experiential learning, competency-based education, and a focus on 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital literacy.
He stressed that this initiative will uplift the standard of education in government schools and prepare students for a future driven by knowledge, innovation, and national values.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Teacher Sadaket Ali Malik, ensuring the smooth flow of the event. Additionally, Teachers Lakshami Devi and Bindya Rani played a great role in coordinating various activities, ensuring an engaging and well-organized session for the students.
To further encourage learning, the school administration arranged for the distribution of free General Knowledge copies among students. This initiative aimed to enhance their knowledge of India’s history, constitutional framework, and current affairs. The event concluded with refreshments being provided to all students, making it an enjoyable and interactive learning experience.
The programme was well-received by both students and teachers, who expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to learn about their constitutional rights and responsibilities in an engaging manner. The event served as a valuable educational initiative in promoting civic awareness and fostering a spirit of nationalism among young learners.
