Panthers Party celebrates International Women Day
Jammu, March 08, 2021: Welcoming the statement of Lt. Governor, Mr. Manoj Sinha for freedom and opportunity to all over the world to development their potential, Ms. Anita Thakur, General Secretary-JKNPP urged upon the society to speak for the social, economic, political and cultural upliftment of women in India.
Ms. Anit Thakur appealed to men and women to speak for ensuring social security at every workplace. She described victory of first Indian Origin Advocate, Mrs. Kamla Hariss is the first Vice President of the United States of America. In India, we have great women i.e. Indira-Nehru-Gandhi who fought against the odds throughout her whole life against the bias of the society because she was a woman. She did not give up and fought all the ways to win against the bias of the society.
India also has Vice-Presidents, Union Ministers, Ambassadors, Police High-ups, Doctors, Academicians, Social Workers and in all other fields great women fought for the emancipation of the society from the shackles of exploitation of the women on economic, social and psychological basis. A meeting of the women representatives was held in Panthers Headquarters at Jammu.
Those who present in the meeting were Ms. Neelam Mahajan, Meenakshi Rajput, Gayatri, Rafiqa Bano, Shamima Begum, Anamika Sharma and Priya Rajput. A resolution was unanimously passed to press upon the government to give social and physical security against the rogue elements of the society.
