NPP pays tributes to Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, ex-Union Minister & Proletariat Leader from Bihar
Jammu, September, 15, 2020: Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party in his condolence message described Late Shri Raghuvansh Prasad Singh as one of the great leaders who contributed for the welfare of the farmer class in the political history of India. The Panthers Party in its condolence message expressed sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for peace to the departed soul in heaven.
The National Panthers Party held condolence meetings in New Delhi, Jammu and Jaipur in memory of one of the well-known proletariat leaders from Bihar who made a big contribution, as Union Minister for Rural Development in the UPA government in 2004. Chairing the meeting, Prof. Bhim Singh while paying tributes to a noted farmer-proletariat leader said that he was one of the political leaders from whom he learnt how to serve the poorest of the poor.
The Panthers Party in its tribute described late Shri Raghuvansh Prasad Singh as a symbol of resistance for the upliftment of the village class who have remained neglected in the country. The Panthers Party in its tribute urges the Union Govt. to put up a memorial in honour of one of the greatest farmer leaders of the country. The Panthers Party also urged the President of India, Shri Ramnath Kovind to recommend setting up a Medical Aid Committee in every state in India for medical care of all the senior citizens of the country and making provisions to give them full Social Security.
The condolence meeting was presided over by Mr. Balwant Singh Mankotia (President-JKNPP) in Jammu, in Delhi by State Delhi President, Mr. Rajiv Jolly Khosla and in Jaipur by Rajasthan State President Mr. Anil Sharma.
