National Science Day celebrated at Aryans
A Poster Presentation contest organised by Aryans Group of Colleges
Jammu, February 28, 2021: To celebrate National Science Day, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organized a webinar & poster presentation activity. Dr. Hari Om Chauhan, Application Specialist in Bio Analytical Technology interacted with the faculty members & Aryans students of Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy, Law, Management, Education and Agriculture & spoke on “Techniques & Equipments used to Improve Quality of Medicine”. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the webinar.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Chauhan said that Health care delivery systems which are working to improve patient experience can face daunting challenges, reflecting the need to align changes in behavior and practices in the organization. In health care, continuous quality improvement is used interchangeably with Total Quality Management, he discussed.
Chauhan further said that Quality improvement is a formal approach to improve performance. Health care organizations can take advantage of established principles for quality improvement, which are already familiar to the many providers involved in clinical quality improvement. Later he discussed all Six domains in health care including safety, timeliness, effectiveness, efficiency, equitability, patient-centeredness etc.
It is to mention that National Science Day is celebrated all over the country on 28th February in order to remember the invention of Raman effect by Indian Physicist Sir C V Raman for which he earned Noble Prize. On this occasion a poster presentation contest was also organized where students from various departments participated.
