Narinder Singh Bhau, the saviour of ‘Dangal’ in the remote areas like Khour
Jammu, September 09, 2023: Today, Narinder Singh Bhau was present as the Chief Guest at the inauguration of the Dangal organised by the ‘Panchayat Ghar Dangal Committee’ of Mandal Chowki Chaura of Chhamb Assembly Constituency and welcomed the wrestlers who had come from all different states and met them.
The first match was played for an amount of Rs 21000/-, which took place between Aamir Khan (Jammu Kashmir Police) and Yudhveer (Delhi). The match ended in a draw in which the second round of wrestling was also thrilling.
Just as ‘Mall-Yuddha’ was fought in olden times, which involved wrestling, in today’s times Dangal is fought. These games have been played for centuries in India and many regions of India. This game has been played in the areas of Khour for the last many years, and Narinder Singh Bhau has been promoting this type of games for the last 20 years. He says that he has been running a free sports club for the last 10 years in which gym, kabaddi ground, cricket ground, badminton etc. are involved. Along with this, he has also provided ground for many games like javelin throw, volleyball, basketball, sprint and football. On this occasion, Dangal Committee and Head Dangal Committee Vijay Kumar ji, BDC President Rahul Dev Sharma ji, Sarpanch Ramesh Lal, Sarpanch Chunni Lal, Naib Sarpanch Satpal, Panch Parsottam Lal, Panch Kali Baba ji, Bunty Kumar ji Rashpal ji and others were also present.
