Kallpoosh Foundation Gurugram donates two imported Oxygen Concentrators to Migrant Colony Top Sherkhania

Jammu, September 30, 2021: Kallpoosh Foundation (KF) a national level socio-cultural NGO based in Gurugram and working for the betterment of the society today donated two imported Oxygen Concentrators worth over rupees two lakhs to the Kashmiri Migrants living in Top Sherkhania (Subash Nagar) government quarters at a simple function here at Shiv Temple here.
The concentrators were personally handed over to the migrant welfare society of Top Sherkhania by the chairperson of Kallpoosh Foundation Veena Wanchoo while Ravi Kachroo a noted film director and a social activist alongwith other activists received the oxygen concentrators on behalf of the colony.
Talking to www.thegypsy.in Veena Wanchoo said that due to the fear of possible third wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic the social activist Ravi Kachroo had requested her NGO for oxygen concentrators as a preventive measure after which the Kallpoosh Foundation arranged two imported Oxygen Concentrators for the residents of the colony for any emergency use.
Ravi Kachroo while speaking on the occasion said that there were a few cases of COVID in the colony last year and it was with great difficulty that they arranged one Oxygen Concentrator for the patient and it was due to that experience that they approached Kallpoosh for the help.
Kachroo said that the welfare committee of Top Sherkhania quarters was highly indebted to Kallpoosh and Veena Wanchoo for this gesture which would go a long way in helping any patient in emergency and also prepare them for any possible third wave of Covid Pandemic.
Veena Wanchoo said that she very happy that Kallpoosh was able to arrange two oxygen concentrators on the request of the residents adding Kallpoosh always tries to fill the gap where human welfare in concerned.
It is worth mentioning here that Kallpoosh has been working tirelessly for the welfare of the society, preservation of Kashmiri Pandit culture, helping the needy and has done tremendous job during Covid Lockdown irrespective of caste creed, colour or religion.
Wanchoo said, “we work extensively in rural and urban areas to help and support lesser fortunate citizens in leading a better and healthier life. In the current scenario as part of the “Need of the Hour Campaign” KF is working on fighting the dreaded Coronavirus and assisting various state administrations by providing relief, distribution of hygienic material, dry ration, mask, sanitizer, toiletries and temporary shelters”.
