Joint Director DIPR launches 10-day long voice-over, dubbing workshop in Kargil

KARGIL, JULY 19, 2022: Ladakh Skill Development Mission, UT Ladakh through Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in collaboration with All India Radio (AIR) Kargil and Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) today initiated a 10-day long workshop on voice-over and dubbing at AIR Baroo.

On the occasion, Joint Director DIPR Ladakh, Imteeaz Kacho, Actor and Course Trainer, FTII, Uday Sabnis, AD DIPR Kargil Padma Angmo, Tensing Head of Office, AIR, Prashar AE, AIR and other staff of the DIPR and AIR were present.

After proper scrutiny and selection process, candidates have been selected for the training program where course trainer Uday Sabnis will train them in voice-over, dubbing and other related tricks and techniques.

Speaking on the occasion, Kacho advised the candidates to learn techniques and skills in voice-over and dubbing.

He said that intake of all the aspirants in government sector is not possible but the UT Administration is trying its level best to inculcate different skills among the youth to empower them to become self-reliant while providing employment opportunities to others.

Course Trainer, FTII, Uday Sabnis briefed the aspirants and dignitaries about the course curriculum and different lessons to be covered during the course.

Sharing his own experiences of working with Aakashwani and Film Industry, he inspired and motivated the aspirants towards voice-over.

AD DIPR Padma Angmo delivered the inaugural speech while AE, AIR, Prashar presented vote of thanks.
