JKNPP delegation meets LG Manoj Sinha

Jammu, February 22, 2021: A senior party delegation of JKNPP led by its President, Prof.Bhim Singh today urged upon the Lt. Governor, Mr. Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan, Jammu to ensure equitable attention of the administration towards the recognized political parties which include J&K National Panthers Party. It was pointed out that the administration in J&K is not responsive to the demands and problems highlighted by JKNPP from time to time. They said that administration is totally indifferent towards Panthers Party, which is demanding justice and equality right from the beginning towards the neglected and discriminated people of the erstwhile state of J&K. Prof.Bhim Singh invited Lt. Governor to his hometown village Bhugterian, Ramnagar Tehsil, District Udhampur. The Lt. Governor was happy to say, “I will come to your village home when you invite me.”

The Panthers Party delegation raised several issues like security cover to the Panthers leadership, appointment of a lady advisor in the present administration for empowerment of the women folk in J&K. They raised the questions of vandalisation of forests which is necessary for coming generation and keeping the biodiversity in that. Other issues raised by the Panthers leaders include setting up of a university campus in Bhaderwah to the growing need of Doda District and providing medical facilities in far-flung rural areas of Rajouri & Poonch Districts. The delegation said that there was no medical facility in the far-flung areas of border districts of Rajouri & Poonch. The Panthers further demanded full-fledged district status to Bhaderwah.

The delegation included Prof.Bhim Singh, P.K. Ganju, Masood Andrabi, Mohd. Iqbal Chowdhary, Ms. Anita Thakur and Capt. Anil Gour.
