Kakroo Expresses Solidarity with Kashmiri Pandits on Herath
London, February 25, 2025: Senior BJP leader Javid Kakroo today extended warm greetings to the people of India, particularly the Hindu community and the Kashmiri Pandit community, on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri and Herath. In a special message, Mr. Kakroo highlighted the significance of the festival and its relevance to fostering unity and peaceful coexistence within Jammu and Kashmir.

We stand with you, supporting your aspirations and working towards a future where you can return to Kashmir with honour and security.”
He further stressed the broader message of unity and harmony embedded within Maha Shivratri. “The triumph of good over evil, a central theme of this festival, serves as a potent reminder of our shared responsibility to build a more inclusive and tolerant society,” Mr. Kakroo stated. “Let us embrace the spirit of Maha Shivratri to foster compassion, understanding, and peaceful coexistence among all communities in Jammu and Kashmir.”
Mr. Kakroo concluded his message by expressing hope for a future where diversity is celebrated and everyone feels safe, respected, and valued, irrespective of their faith or background.
