India Post Payments Bank organized NABARD Sponsored financial literacy camp at Salal (Reasi)
Reasi, February, 10, 2021 : India Post Payments Bank, Udhampur Branch, in collaboration with NABARD organized a financial awareness and literacy camp at Branch Post Office, Salal under Reasi District.
The camp was organized to impart the awareness about the different schemes provided by India Post.
Sub Divisional Inspector, Reasi Sub Division, in his address gave detailed information of various deposits schemes of the bank/Post Office.
He also spread awareness about various IT initiatives of the Bank such as use of Mobile Banking Services, Aadhar based transactions, SMS Alerts, NEFT/RTGS and Immediate Payment Services(IMPS).
He also told them the benefits and ease of using such services and at the same time cautioned them to be aware of fraudulent calls.
Shri Amit Sharma, Manager India Post Payments Bank, Udhampur Branch explained the benefits of financial inclusion schemes launched by Government of India.
He also made them aware about the different facilities which are available in the bank/Post Office.
He also explained the benefits of Digital Banking, Cashless Banking and motivated the public to make cashless banking a part of their life. Mr Rakesh Singh Katal, Asst Manager, IPPB Udhampur branch, also addressed the gathering and explained about the PMJJBY and SSA/ Electricity Bill Payments through IPPB Mobile Banking App.
