GDC Khaltse organises intramural chess competition
Leh, July 21, 2022: Department of Physical Education and Sports, Government Degree College, Khaltse organised an Intramural Chess Competition on International Chess Day 2022 themed ‘Women in Chess’ on July 20.
College Director of Physical Education and Sports, Sonam Chosphail welcomed the guests and participants. He encouraged the students to participate in sports along with academics which will boost their morale.
Around ten students of the college participated in the chess competition. The final match was played between Dolma Tsondus of 3rd Semester and Padma Angmo of 1st semester on July 21, in which Dolma Tsondus of semester 3rd secured 1st position, Padma Angmo of 1st semester secured 2nd position and Dechen Dolkar of 3rd semester secured 3rd position.
The winners were felicitated with certificates and prizes by the organising committee. Assistant Professor, English, Stanzin Deldan gave the vote of thanks.
