DC Santosh Sukhadeve convenes District Capex Budget review meeting
KARGIL, JULY 13, 2021: Deputy Commissioner and CEO,LAHDC,Kargil Santosh Sukhdeve convened a meeting to review the status of progress achieved on various ongoing and new projects under the District Capex Budget 2021-2022 at Conference Hall Baroo here on Monday.
Superintending Engineer PWD Kargil Er Ved Prakash, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Ghulam Mohammad, officers of Health, Education, Agriculture, Horticulture and allied sectors, Executive Engineers of various divisions besides other sectoral heads and district officers attended the meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed the concerned officers to hastily execute the projects and complete the same well before the end of the working season. He said that in cases there are disputes with regard to any projects the same should be brought to his notice and necessary steps are taken for resolution so as to avoid bottlenecks in execution of works on the ground level.
DC Santosh Sukhadeve instructed all officers to ensure that budget should not lapse at the end of the year and maximum expenditure should be booked before the closure of the Zojila Pass, adding he said that disputes if any should be submitted in writing to the DC Office.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed the officers of Health Department to execute health projects on priority to effectively deal with any possible third wave of COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, DC Santosh Sukhadeve informed the administration is developing a website for works to ensure there is no duplicity of budget. He also instructed the Animal and Sheep Husbandry departments to ensure mass vaccination of animals affected with Food and Mouth Disease (FMD).
