DC Kargil disburses financial assistance to 4873 registered active construction workers during COVID-19 lockdown period

KARGIL MAY 25, 2021: Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve today disbursed financial assistance of Rs 48 lakhs and 73 thousand in favor of 4873 registered active construction workers under the J&K Building and Other Construction Workers (JKBOCW) Act.

The financial assistance has been disbursed @ Rs 1000/- per registered active construction worker through the DBT mode.

Assistant Labour Commissioner, Kargil Raziya Khatoon, officials from the Labour Department and several beneficiaries were present on the occasion.
