Chairman DLCC Kargil approves annual action plan under MIDH, ATMA schemes
Kargil, MAY 19, 2021: Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve who is also the Chairman of the District Level Coordination Committee (DLCC) Kargil for Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) and Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) after a meeting with the DLCC members to discuss the annual plan under MIDH and State Extension Work Plan (SEWP) under ATMA approved the plans under these schemes for the year 2021-2022 here today.
The Chairman DLCC approved the Annual Action Plan of Rs 567.44 lakhs under MIDH and Rs 117.36 lakhs under ATMA for development of the Horticulture and Agriculture sectors in the district during the current fiscal.
The various components under MIDH and ATMA include among other activities the conduct of baseline survey and strengthening of horticultural statistical data base, holding of seminars, conferences, workshops, exhibitions, farmers’ melas, purchase of agriculture and horticulture machinery and equipments, study tours and trainings of farmers, the establishment of storage and processing units, establishment of high density plantations of apple and other related components.
Chairman DLCC directed the concerned officers to ensure effective implementation of the different components of the schemes on ground for maximum benefit of the farming community.
Chief Agriculture Officer Kargil, Chief Horticulture Officer Kargil, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Kargil, District Sheep Husbandry Officer Kargil, Assistant Director Fisheries Kargil, Programme Officer KVK Kargil, Lead District Manager (LDM) Kargil and Representative of MARES, SKUAST attended the meeting.
