Chairman, CEC, Tashi Gyalson chairs a meeting regarding the plans to develop Hydro Tourism

Leh, January 11, 2023 : Chairman/ CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson chaired a meeting regarding the plans to develop Hydro Tourism at the Hydroelectric Dam located at Alchi village by the Tourism Department Ladakh in collaboration with National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC).

Concerned officers informed CEC Gyalson regarding the introduction of various winter sports, extending infrastructures, promotion of hydro tourism, etc., at the NHPC Dam in Alchi.

CEC Gyalson directed the officials to plan the project considering all safety measures primarily and also suggested them to take on board the local area Councillors while planning as well as preparing the DPRs in the future.

The meeting was attended by ADC/CEO LDA Leh, Sonam Chosjor; GM & DGM (C) of NHPC, Xen LDA, and officials Tourism Department, Leh.
